So, my brother introduced me to Danielle Davis at Ladykiller Productions ("Integrated Marketing Solutions & Events For the Gaming & Entertainment Industries") because she needed some design work done for Emerald City Comicon, and I needed to go to Emerald City Comicon (been meaning to for years, but, you know...). Anyway, between him living up there (free room!) and her needing design stuff done, it worked out nicely.

Specifically, what she need designed was a logo and poster for an event called I <3 Comic Art, a benefit for supporting Seattle-local independent comic artists. The event itself was held at Velocity dance studio in the Capital Hill district of Seattle, at which they auctioned off some pretty wonderful stuff and raised a good few thousand dollars in real money for the real artists.

So I designed a logo, poster, postcard, and a handful of supporting graphics for social media. This is the poster.

A lot of comic art was hearted that night, I can tell you.

Danielle is a treat to work with, by the way. If you get the chance, I highly recommend it.
